In the past six months, Intel has made frequent moves. Some time ago, Intel showed the high-end Arc A750 limited edition graphics card in the form of live broadcast, and also shared some preliminary performance data.
According to the exposed PPT data, there are five Ruixuan A series graphics cards on the Intel desktop platform, namely A770, A750, A580, A380 and A310. The highest-end Ruixuan A770 is positioned close to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and AMD Radeon RX 6650XT.
Recently, the well-known overseas hardware reviewer "Linus Tech Tips" got the Intel Arc A770 flagship graphics card, and tested and overclocked it. There are also guests from Intel in the video, including Tom Petersen, an academician in charge of graphics technology innovation, and Ryan Shrout, director of GPU business marketing. This should also be the first public demonstration video of the Ruixuan A770 graphics card.
In the video, Tom Petersen briefly introduced the game optimization information of Ruixuan graphics card. The optimized games for this series of graphics cards will be divided into three levels. The first layer is the best game optimized for Ruixuan graphics card, using DirectX12 API, including "Cyberpunk 2077", "Control", "Fortress Night", etc. The second layer of game optimization status is second, including some DirectX12/Vulkan games. The last layer is not optimized for Ruixuan graphics cards, mainly DirectX11 games. Intel said that in the first-level optimized game, Intel Sharp Graphics will have a very high cost performance.
After testing with Cyberpunk 2077, Tomb Raider and F1 2021, it seems to perform well at 1440P. In terms of overclocking, through the +20% performance configuration file, the voltage curve of Ruixuan A770 is adjusted, which can increase the power consumption limit of the graphics card to 285W, and the temperature limit is also increased to 125℃, but when it is further increased to +30%, running The game crashes.
